Simple is Great

If you are familiar with the Rokku Gyaru style, you'll notice that a lot of the clothes are on the simple side (though far from plain). This is because, accessories are your best friend! Most outfits consist of a few pieces that get 'dressed up' with well placed jewelry, hats, fancy nails, tights or shoes. (And often a combination of all of those elements.)

The outfit pictured above is one of my faves from Ghost of Harlem - modeled by Sakurina of course as it also displays that you don't need to constantly wear black and white. (Though I'm guilty of this myself). Throw in a splash of color, mix it up. You can't go wrong with lacy outerwear or designs with skulls and crosses.
